One of the best parts of living in the beautiful state of Maryland is the access to incredible waterfront properties. Living and working in Baltimore, we are so close to the Chesapeake Bay and all the beautiful wedding venues it’s home to. We had an incredibly hard time narrowing this list down, but these are our top 5 favorite waterfront wedding venues near Baltimore!
1. Chesapeake Bay Beach Club | Stevensville, Maryland

This venue is set just over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from Annapolis in Stevensville, Maryland. Although located on the eastern peninsula, Stevensville is known for its convenient access from both Baltimore and Washington, D.C. The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club has one of the most iconic waterfront ceremony locations in Maryland and a gorgeous indoor space for receptions.
2. Bohemia Overlook | North East, Maryland
Bohemia Overlook is a little further from Baltimore than our other venues, but trust us, it’s worth the drive! This gorgeous property and vineyard is home to three different wedding locations with incredible views of the Chesapeake! Whether you’re dreaming of a beachfront ceremony or a rustic barn, Bohemia Overlook has it all.
3. Frederick Douglass Maritime Museum | Baltimore, Maryland

If you’ve ever been to downtown Baltimore, you’ve likely seen the Inner Harbor – the body of water the entire city was built around. Frederick Douglass Maritime Museum does a fantastic job of beautifully framing the harbor with all of its wall-to-ceiling windows, while also providing an industrial interior as a nod to the city’s history as a major shipping port. This venue is a true Baltimore gem, and a great way to give your out-of-town guests a glimpse of what the city has to offer.
4. Historic London Town and Gardens | Edgewater, Maryland

This property in Edgewater has everything you could ask for in a waterfront wedding venue. With multiple outdoor ceremony locations with water views and options for either an indoor reception or a tented reception, you can’t go wrong here! The property also has tons of trees, making it incredibly beautiful year-round.
5. Kurtz's Beach | Pasadena, Maryland

With a gorgeous waterfront property and multiple stunning outdoor ceremony spaces to choose from, Kurtz’s beach is a beautiful venue option close to Baltimore. In addition to its beautiful outdoor spaces, Kurtz’s is known for it’s unique circular reception hall and dance floor, making it a fantastic spot for a crowd that loves to party!
There’s nothing we love more than a beautiful evening DJing by the water. We’re so fortunate to live in an area with gorgeous waterfront wedding venues, and we get incredibly pumped every time we book one! There are so many other fantastic options for waterfront venues around Baltimore, but these five are staffed with truly awesome people that we love to work with.
